United Board

The deadline for grant applications for the 2009-2010 has passed.

The United Board welcomes inquiries about grant applications consistent with our mission and overall program. Inquiries can be directed to the relevant staff person. The deadline for submission for grant applications for the 2009-2010 fiscal year was October 31, 2008. For more information, please contact the United Board's Hong Kong program office, grants @ unitedboard.org.

Does the United Board make grants to individuals?

Our support to individuals is in the context of our support for the faculty development efforts of Asian colleges and universities. We do not have a program of grants directly to individuals outside this context.

What programs does the United Board not support?

  • Proposals from individuals
  • Proposals from non-Asian institutions not partnering with Asian institutions
  • Proposals that are unrelated to higher education
  • Requests for student scholarships
  • Funding for research or research publications
  • Funding for infrastructure or infrastructure improvements (with some exceptions)
  • Funding or salaries or salary supplements
