Regional Faculty Scholars Program

Through its support for faculty development, the United Board has made a major contribution Asian higher education. Across Asia, there are schools in which a significant percentage of faculty and administrators have obtained advanced degrees because of United Board support. In recent years, these degrees have been obtained at Asian universities.

The United Board supports the faculty development by:

• helping faculty complete advanced degrees at Asian institutions
• partnering with outstanding Asian institutions to provide scholarships for faculty seeking to obtain advanced degrees
• supporting non-degree scholarly exchanges within Asia
