Celebration with the Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia (ACUCA), Tokyo, Japan (Oct 26, 2012)
During the ACUCA Biennial Meeting and its welcome dinner, a ceremony was held to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the United Board and its long association with ACUCA. The dinner was well-attended by ACUCA members, guests and participants, as well as scholars and staff members of International Christian University and Meiji Gakuin University.
90th Anniversary Celebration Dinner, Manila, Philippines (July 27, 2012)
Hosted by Trustee Fr. Bienvenido F. Nebres, a celebration dinner was held at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Manila and was well-attended by 60 guests including the Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of the Philippines, government officials, donors, senior management and scholars of our partner institutions in the Philippines, as well as staff and other friends of the United Board.
Celebration with Silliman University, Dumaguete, Philippines (July 22, 2012)
A joint celebration was held on the campus of Silliman University during the United Board Fellows Seminar to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the United Board and our long relationship with Silliman University. Silliman University set up an exhibition and staged a cultural performance to tell the story of the United Board and the University over the past decades.
Celebration with Madras Christian College, Chennai, India (Feb 17, 2012)
A joint celebration was held on the campus of Madras Christian College during a visit to our partner institutions in India. The College celebrated its 175th Anniversary together with the 90th Anniversary of the United Board in a ceremony attended by the President and staff members of the University as well as the President and representatives of the United Board.
